My original flight was from Dothan to Asheville on July 19th. After delays and a momentary cancellation of the flight in Dothan, the flight was executed by Delta.
A Delta representative in Dothan told me it would be in my best interest to take the flight because my connection to Asheville was delayed due to a late crew member (not related to weather). This means that if I do become stranded in Atlanta I would be given a hotel and compensated for any issues that arise within reason.
I took the flight and found my flight to Asheville to be canceled. After hours of waiting on hold and never being called back by Delta’s phone service representatives, I was simultaneously in line waiting two hours to talk to a representative. When I did get to a representative I was told that my flight was indeed delayed due to a late crew member and I could be rebooked for a flight in the morning, or reimburses the remainder of the trip. The rep also told me I would likely be reimbursed for my hotel due to the circumstances, but she was out of vouchers for the hotels in the area.
Bottom line... I flew to Atlanta based on the information I was given by a DELTA REPRESENTATIVE. Now I’m being told by corporate that it says no where in the notes for either of my flights was there a late crew member. I do not know how I was told by two delta representatives in person the flight was delayed based on late crew, now told a different story by corporate.
Desired end-state: I want my entire flight refunded, my hotel paid for, and my taxi to the hotel paid for.
This company put me in a worse position by only taking me half way. I was left stranded in an airport from 10 pm to 2 am attempting to communicate with delta representation. I was also treated disrespectfully by most of the delta representatives throughout this entire process.

Hi delta social media if i had to chose a delta moment the best one ever was when we were delayed for 2.6h out of Moline and I was actually as happy as can be about the delay I didn’t mind it not one bit I was on vacation and I was just happy to be at the airport yes I’m an aviation freak so anything in aviation makes me happy and so we were delayed out of Moline IL for 2.6h and the delta care team was activated and our gate agent was very informative on the status of the flight coming from ATL he kept us all well informed at all times and what else did he have at the gate for everyone affected ? FREE Pizza that’s right free pizza he essentially threw a pizza party for everyone at the gate not only was their free pizza though there was free snacks and free bottles of water they treated us so well I was already a happy camper before that and that made me even more of a happy camper it honestly made my day 100% the flight attendant in the back and front were both awesome like really nice people and when we arrived at our gate at ATL we had a 5 hour layover there so I got to make my day even more awesome and I got to explore a new airport best delay ever 😊😆😁 like literally I wasn’t upset or anything i was just happy to be at an airport like I said and happy that I was flying to somewhere new

Dear all,
Since official customer care channels are not working properly, I am forced to use IG to communicate with you.
I am on holiday in the US and my bag (together with my mum’s one) got lost during the connection in CDG despite we paid the Comfort+ tariff (with luggage priority).
It’s FOUR days that I am calling the customer service several times a day and that I have been told lies on where our luggages are, not to mention the poor service at the ARL baggage desk.
Every day we have been told that the baggages are coming on today and every day they are not.
We spent so far more than 700 USD to buy the minimum necessary to enjoy the vacation (which includes city visiting, beaches and horse riding so you’d understand this requires different outfits). I won’t let my holiday being ruined by this fact, but my patience is really over now.
Our baggages are now on route to Pensacola (Florida) while they should go to Houston. Once home, I will contact my lawyer to take care of the issue. And of course I won’t fly Delta anymore, not because the baggage got lost (which can happen), but because of the poor customer service provided. Best regards

Is this a joke??? I just had a 9hrs flight sitting next to à drunk man. Steward kept bringing him alcohol during the whole flight. He was agressive, kicked the floor loudly while everyone was trying to sleep, looking everywhere weird and nervous, started to say « allahu albar » during the landing, I felt insecured. I told the staff and nobody did anything, they were relaxed and just told me « we will have a look, can you go back to your seat? ». This is the last time I fly with your company.

Delta flight 27 from Atlanta to Seoul, what’s wrong with this company??? This flight was supposed to leave at midnight, after 3 hours waiting inside the plane they send all the passengers to sleep in the airport, no hotel, no meals, just wait for 13 hours, with the most uncaring staff. After all this nightmare until 2pm today and they’re inside the plane for the last hour and now they are saying they have another problem. Wow!!! #deltaairlines #delta

I just had the worst flight service I’ve ever had and I am a Sky priority dedicated loyal customer! My flight was severely delayed, the airline staff (brand new) were not pleasant, and to top it off I am in Brazil and my luggage did not make it here with me. Highly disappointed doesn’t even cover how I’m feeling right now. I have to work tomorrow and I am completely lacking clothes and some of my presentation materials!!
