Before having Arna, I didn’t fully understand what a CHALLENGE regaining my strength would be. I obviously had to wait to be cleared for training by my healthcare professionals, and when I started with LIGHT workouts, all I could do was walk slowly and focus on my breathing. It was a STRUGGLE. The same was the case with getting back on machines in the gym — I had to start light, and move up to CHALLENGE myself when I felt ready. My #postpartum training began with BBG Beginner and it was HARD 😂!!! It was like starting over.
But one thing I KNOW from my 10 years as a qualified personal trainer is that there are NO quick fixes when it comes to health and fitness. Don’t believe anyone who tells you it will come easily or in a matter of days — results and progress only come from putting in the WORK and it takes TIME. Even though I wasn’t expecting to find #postpartum workouts so challenging, I also know, like all of YOU in the #BBGCommunity, that every gain is WORTH IT.
There’s no right or wrong when it comes to progress, and there is no such thing as a SHORTCUT on YOUR health and fitness journey. Just remember, everyone in the #BBGCommunity is there to support YOU. Are you up for the CHALLENGE? 👊💪🙌
