Confidence is finding yourself, knowing yourself and being yourself and that comes via the body mind and soul. I know a lot of people may look at my pictures as well as see me in the media and think that I must have bags and bags of confidence and believe that I’m better than everyone else and my life is just “me me me” but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I gained my self confidence after losing everything in life, I built myself up brick by brick again, started to believe in myself, achieve more, work harder and reap the rewards after many years of grafting in silence. I don’t think I’m better than anyone else, I KNOW that we are all equal, that opportunity feels the same for us all yet not everybody has the belief that they are good enough to achieve their dreams. I too used to feel that way before I found myself. I do a lot to help others, to support businesses, donate and fundraiser for charity, to give away my things, my clothes, my furniture and material possessions to help those who need it. One year I gave away more than I earned, despite raising my two children alone, because the feeling of helping others filled me with such love I couldn’t justify giving anything to myself, despite working so hard for all that I have. Now I’ve found that balance, a healthy happy medium of striving for progress whilst elevating others and making a positive difference to the world and those around me. I live with love and positivity in my heart, make choices against my own wants and desires for the greater good and am truly thankful for every blessing and opportunity that comes my way because I don’t believe in making excuses.
