They have student interact and play with the pups selected for us. They have more babies selected than we have currently raised money to bring to the center. 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️ We still need your help to raise more $$ to be able to pay their transport and care! Panda is a Red Fox; however has a very unique color called a Georgian White. This color was originally found on a fur farm in the Republic of Georgia and was gifted to the ICG for their program. You may have met Maksa if you have ever been to a Photoshoot, encounter or event for the center. She is a Red Georgian White. These are not natural colors found in the wild red fox population. Captive breeding of foxes for fur has created over 60+ colors of the red fox (natural colors are red, silver and the combo of the two). Many of the colors are going to be linked to genes that are not desirable or would not allow the fox to live in the wild. To the fur farmer, none of that matters when they are going to kill them 😡 the ICG selects only for temperament for the project that has been ongoing for over 60 years. They have 6 colors (of the non natural colors, these were gifted into the program, not created). They do not inbreed and there is not a selection for coat quality or color, just friendliness towards humans. . Panda and her Russian Pals will be amazing Ambassadors for their wild and captive bred counterparts. These babies will desire human interaction, strangers and folks they know).
