This shy looking rodent is a five-toed jerboa @moscow_zoo_official. This species uses its impressively long hind limbs to travel throughout its homerange, covering distances of up to three meters in a single bound. Nocturnal in nature, the jerboa burrows into the ground during the day, emerging at night to find food.
