A member of the mint family, Hidden Lake bluecurls only occurs along the perimeter of a montane vernal pool within Mount San Jacinto State Park in #California. With such a restricted habitat, the California Department of Parks and Recreation, Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden and others, have worked hard ensure the plants remain at a healthy population, and the good news is, it’s been working!
