Drawing on themes in the work of Lubaina Himid (@lubainapics), artist and educator Sharon Walters (@london_artist1) shows us how she creates her beautiful cut-out pieces while discussing the importance of representation and seeing ourselves.

To follow along with the workshop all you'll need is glue, a scalpel and cutting mat (or scissors), a photograph of yourself (or a picture of a person who you connect with) and images of nature from a magazine or newspaper.
