What were your motivations back then? Why did you choose to join Instagram? A: A lot of our work needs images… some tell stories, others help conservation (camera traps for example) and most have the power to inspire and convey the sense of belonging we all need to protect our one and only planet. In Instagram we know we will reach younger crowds, creative ones, urban groups, visual people and natural influencers who can help us amplify our message to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. As we are moving into a more visual, mobile and fast-paced future it was only natural for us to join – and really, have you seen how involved people seem to be in Instagram? ________________________________________Q: What are the most inspiring brands/accounts on Instagram? A: We like to keep an eye on @natgeo and @earthpix for their stunning photography, @charitywater for their polished campaigns and @greenpeace. ________________________________________Q: How has Instagram helped you more than other social networks, to connect with your consumers? A: Instagram is a clean, pretty, clutter-free space where people not only share their lives but in the process of doing so, create an image of themselves – being part of this process is essential to get everyone truly involved with our mission.
