What benefits has Instagram brought you? A: We think it’s one of the most interesting channels out there at the moment. Language, geography and identity no longer seem to be necessarily connected and as an international NGO, we want to reach millions and speak their language – in Instagram we can. Being able to be “inside” someone’s life right next to their best friend’s selfie is also a privilege. What’s relevant as well is that in Instagram we’ve found a space where WWF as an organization, a community and an ocean of supporters can talk to each other, meet and build trust. ________________________________________Q: When posting a media, what is your Like/Comment threshold that makes it acceptable? A: We are still growing but we know pandas and tigers are popular and get around 5k hearts. Currently, we are happy with anything over 1k. We also focus on comments, not particularly the number but what they say – we know we’re doing something right if we see our community connecting with each other and showing a sense of belonging to our planet. ________________________________________Q: What are the features you like most on Iconosquare? A: Our favourite Iconosquare feature is probably having Hootsuite integration. We particularly enjoy our monthly summary, the overview of how each photo is performing and the quick view of what is trending. When we want a more in depth analysis however, the report we can download is very useful.
