Sylvain, an equilibrist, at the #Cannes Film Festival. @balintporneczi, a Hungarian photographer who moved to France in 2011, put away his professional tools to produce "Figurák," a portrait project. In Cannes, @balintporneczi is posting seven portraits every day in honor of cinema, known as "the seventh art." Instead of looking only toward the spotlight, he is photographing a wide variety of people. "The title means everybody is the same," he said of his project. "You can be the French president, you can be a C.E.O., you can be homeless, you can be a milkman, you can be a paperboy." We’ll post more portraits from Cannes for #nytweekender. Follow @balintporneczi to see the continuing series.
