Yesterday I had the chance to spend the entire day in Yellowstone National Park once again. As I woke up, I immediately realized that winter had magically reappeared overnight. The landscape was once again covered in a fresh blanket of snow and the green hue of spring was hidden. As I made my way up north, I had an amazing encounter with this grizzly sow and her three yearling cubs in Grand Teton National Park. This grizzly is called "Blondie" and this was her first appearance of the year. It was beautiful to watch the four bears meander through the snow and we even got to see the sow stand up! It was a perfect way to show us that she's the protector of her cubs as she towered over the three little bears. Throughout the day, I witnessed 14 bears in total and much more!
