Today I was very kindly invited to participate in #ninjawarrioruk which was a compete eye opener and it's safe to say I was more weasel than warrior but it's fun watching people slam into walls and plunge into water isn't it! The upper body strength required is immense and something I have always struggled with as I have only begun to scratch the surface on my training since having weak bones as a child but it's something I aim to overcome. I discovered today that I'm pretty alright at sprinting, running up walls and swinging on poles but my grip strength and endurance is that of warm lettuce which my resolution of "it's probably because I don't have a penis" did little to excuse my limp wrist! I take my hats off to everybody who took part, you're all absolute machines and I can only aspire to be on your level some day.
