One of the best perks of working in the field? Getting up close and personal with incredible critters! While on a night dive near @SmithsonianCBC, our field station on the Mesoamerican Reef in Belize, researchers encountered this squid taking advantage of smaller invertebrates’ attraction to their dive lights to nab a quick meal.
