This statue at the University of Tokyo campus was built in 2015 and is one of two statues of Hachiko in Tokyo. This one shows Hachiko and his master finally reuniting. The statue follows the story of the famous pooch Hachiko, who was immortalized in an iconic bronze statue at Shibuya in 1934.
