Being an athlete of any kind is not easy. It’s important to stay on top of your mental game. Obviously we gotta stay fit. But a huge part of progression is slowing down and taking care of your body through maintenance work like dry needling or massage. I’ve usually been good about regular massages, acupuncture, and dry needling. However sometimes that stuff takes a back seat when I feel good and the stoke is high. However, these are the times when maintenance is most important. @halleytheresa13 helped me unwind a bit this morning, working out those tight spots so my body can work correctly.
Don’t forget, we always need to work on the full package, not just getting stronger physically and mentally, but also to recover better. ??
