I had to do both for 2 years. Go wait tables, come home and film/edit/create programs until I went to sleep. Very little time was spent “free”. This is not to complain, I am very grateful to be where I am, but the point is:⁣ ⁣ If this is something you want to do, you have to be willing to do both… For a long time - however long it takes you to get to a point where you’re like “hmmm this is actually enough to pay my bills now”. For most people, once you do make enough to cover your bills, it’s not like you have a massive influx of money and can do whatever you want. It’s still a struggle, I was still living month to month barely affording much else outside of my bills. But slowly with time and WORK, it starts to all come together and exponentially grow.⁣ ⁣ It isn’t just like oh hey I have an instagram following, now Instagram pays me to exist lol. You have to find a way to create an income from a product/service/etc. You don’t get paid to have followers, you need to create your own opportunities to make money. For me, that’s about 7-10 different revenue streams (depending on the month really) but it isn’t so black and white *and it’s also different for everyone*⁣ ⁣ I guess long story short, I definitely never thought I would be where I am now and it doesn’t come easy.
