Happy New Years everyone 🥂🌊

I spent my day hiking through the mountains but the ocean has always felt like renewal to me.

Several years ago I went through a phase where I became obsessed with Brazil and its culture. (Still haven’t visited but it’s on the list. 🇧🇷)
I read that on New Years, the beaches are flooded with people, all in white.
Then, at midnight, everyone walks (or runs) into the water as a purifying ritual.

They emerge cleansed to begin the new year.

This has always sounded so beautiful to me. 🤍🌊

Who’s been?

I can’t wait to experience it. I can only imagine the energy of it all. ✨
