I have been musing on Frida Kahlo this week through a study in ink. Yesterday was with a rich cobalt blue by Pennonia for @amarillostationery called Azul Frida in homage to her home known as the Blue House. Today I am saturated in vibrant rosy hues with another Pennonia ink for @amarillostationery called Rosa Mexicano. I think both could be paired beautifully together so that will perhaps be my next exploration. I am ever drawn to bold and bright colors these days and it has been wondrous to have them on my palette. Multifaceted and unfettered has been a theme in and of itself, lifelong and especially presently.
I am glad the weekend is nearing. So much life awaits to be savoured, not for squares but in moments that move beyond them. The rice cooker is singing as I type and it is time to prepare a little Korean feast for supper.
What about you? What are you all getting into this weekend?
