I want to say yes to everything and everyone. But the truth is, I'm just me and I have limits and sometimes I just can't. While I'd like to be able to give everyone what they want at all times, I'm just not able to do it, nor do I think it's really healthy to try and be everything to everyone. You have to be true to yourself and come to terms with the fact that you can't please everyone all the time. When it all comes down to it, you're the one who has to make sense of it all, you're the one that has to live your life. You have to be at peace within yourself. If you're not at a place of peace in your own mind how can you be at peace in the world? The only peace you bring to the world is the peace that's in your heart. Sometimes I feel the need to withdraw, to let go, so that I can come back to a place of peace within myself, so I can clear and listen. When I delve inside I can't be rushed because there's something valuable I'm searching for. Tonight is one of those moments when I feel the desire to recharge, restore and reset. So I close my eyes and take the space to just be. Sometimes the person you need to say yes to is yourself. ?
