Regina Bakely and Michelle Chatterton regularly work with cheetahs Gat and Bakari, training them to voluntarily participate in their medical care. So far, they have mastered injection and blood draw training, but they continue to work diligently with the cats to keep up these behaviors. When the veterinary team needed to follow up on Bakari’s liver values, he was ready and willing to have his blood drawn.
