Finding my passion and joy for climbing again. Those things were missing for far too long. I was confused and very upset with the sport for taking my friend away. In addition I was injured for a veryyyyy long time. It’s one thing to reel from an injury that takes a couple months to recover from. And it’s a different beast when you’re injured for 6 months before you are diagnosed correctly and then have a 7+ month recovery from the surgery.
But I’ve found my child-like enthusiasm again. Let’s climb from sun up to sun down, everyday, please.
Thank you, climbing, for being my guide through life, and especially through the very difficult times.
