me being fit isn't permission to eat a donut 🍩 💜

In fact, I'm allowed to eat whatever the heck I want, no matter my body shape💪🏼

this allowance doesn't stop when I can't see my abs
⠀
or when I missed out on a week of workouts.
⠀
and you know why?
⠀
🌻because my recovery from an eating disorder is what I will always honour,
⠀
before the structure of my physique,
and the density of my muscles.
⠀
what I have learned doesn't leave me. it never will💜
⠀
for I understand fully that my right to consume calories isn't coated with a prerequisite of caloric expenditure of deficits. ⠀
that we were all born with an innate deserving of treating ourselves kindly,
⠀
and this truth doesn't waver when our bodies inevitably do🌻
⠀
because the truth is, I will not look like this forever. ⠀
I know this.

but what I know more than anything, what is etched into my bones,

is that I will always
ALWAYS
be worth it💜

worthy of all the donuts I have yet to taste!😉
