I've never won an Emmy before. It was definitely on my bucket list for things I wanted to achieve in my career, so I did a major quarantine happy dance!!! Buuut, he was partly wrong... I didn't win an Emmy... WE WON AN EMMY! (Even better) 💃🏼 - Not just me and Jim, but the whole #Pac12Networks gym crew including @janayhonest and the rest of the @uclagymnastics team. It was @missvalkondos last meet ever and if I'm being honest, I had to fight back tears multiple times bc I was so happy and proud of her. It was an amazing night! - She created a legacy at #UCLAgymnastics that I was lucky enough to be part of and it was SO SPECIAL for me to call the meet bc she helped me become a sports broadcaster (starting the year I tore my achilles when she encouraged me to start Bruin Banter 😱)!! - TY Miss V for continuing to encourage me, Jay, Kate and all of your other girls to follow our dreams. You set a pretty amazing example. - and a HUGE TY to Jim Watson for being nice to me on air when I was a gymnast (LOL), being a good mentor for me my first couple of years, and now being a great friend that I get to see periodically throughout the year.
