She is considered tame vs domesticated. Taming is something you do vs domestication which is a genetic change that affects a population. Ishy was bottle fed at 10 days of age and received the very best socialization starting at 6 weeks of age. Ishy is an amazing US tame fox and is okay in our private encounters; however, she is there for the cucumbers and not to hang out with people. We also do not allow people to physically interact with Ishy, as while she is an amazingly well-behaved fox, she is more unpredictable than our Russian domesticated foxes. We always make sure her interactions are positive for her and allow her to leave the encounters when she is ready.
