Lucan is being trained in both basic manners and obedience in order to make him a stellar ambassador. Here is an example of a recall with a sporting/flip finish. The purpose of the finish is to get him by your side after the recall so he can walk nicely by your side. Training Lucan in some ways is similar to the foxes in that, while he is very smart, he needs to see the direct benefit of performing a behavior.
