One of the interesting things about crow pose is the shape of the pose lends towards a collapse in the shoulders. To lift out of the shoulder joint requires the practitioner to minimize the angle of the shoulders pointing down. This can happen by lowering the chest while lifting the shoulders.

This is @playfulpractice demonstrating a way to open the shoulders while in crow pose (supine variation) by using our Pranayama Pillow bolster.
