A six week old fox kit listens in as his mother teaches him about important life lessons such as hunting and other forest matters. I've loved every minute watching this family of foxes which consists of a mother and father, and around 7 or so little kits. The parents constantly left to go on small hunting missions where they would bring a variety of prey back to the den, such as ground squirrels, voles, and trout to the delight of the kits. The kits would snatch the meal right out of the adult's mouth and run around with it in pure glee. I can't wait to watch these guys over the coming weeks as they grow bigger and make their way out into the forest!
