We are considering installing solar on our home. It is, after all, the “sunshine state”. They say the panels are hurricane proof and guaranteed for life. I love the idea of being powered entirely by renewable energy at home. While with financing they’re doable, they’re not cheap. So, does anyone have experience with solar? What do you think? Should we do it?

One day I hope all our energy is sourced from renewables. I know we’ve got a long way to go on every front (not just clean energy) to make this world a better place, but every step counts (even the baby steps and the ones that feel like we are back-sliding). Little by little, we will make the world a better place for all beings. One of the reasons that I believe in yoga and the spiritual path is that s we each do our part to grow as individuals, we plant the seeds of global evolution in our hearts. Something in our hearts wakes up and once it does we have no choice but to do the work that is needed to bring true light to all beings.
