Despite all that, I am in love with these photos. This was the first moment I was able to stand and actually walk over to my daughter. . A lot of you have been asking about my birth story which I will share about in detail soon. But long story short, I labored for 15 hrs, and eventually needed a c-section due to some anatomical complications. . I’ve shared before how I always hoped for a vaginal and unmedicated birth and while that didn’t happen, it’s the last thing I care about right now. She’s here, she’s healthy, and I’m so in love!! . Recovering from a C-section is by far the hardest thing I’ve physically ever had to go through. I’m still not able to really walk or stand on my own, so @luca.ferretti17 has been a superhero dad by taking care of literally *everything* for both of his girls. . For now, I’m trying to soak up all these newborn moments. I already cried at the fact that we left the hospital and that’s one phase of her life already gone 😭 I just want to hit pause.
