"Should I work out on an empty stomach?"
It's personal preference! For me, I feel sick if I do a high-intensity workout on an empty stomach. I usually wake up hungry, so the first thing I want to do is eat, not train. I also want to make sure that I have enough fuel, or food, in my body to be able to work out.

Some people find they can work out on an empty stomach first thing in the morning and they feel fine, but for others, working out on an empty stomach might make them feel ill or like they’re not performing at their best. But if you’re a morning person who wants to work out before breakfast, then that’s okay too.

For anyone who plans to work out later in the day or the afternoon, I would recommend you eat your meals and snacks as normal. However I would always suggest you wait one-and-a-half hours after eating before you train.

The main thing to consider is what feels right for YOU and YOUR body. There's nothing worse than finishing a workout and feeling unwell, so do what makes you feel happy, confident and strong!
